- Building /Theme Challenge: If you paid attention to the Facebook page you might have sensed a clue as where I was going with the build challenge. May’s build challenge will be using ONLY 1×1, 1×2, 2×2 and 2×4 bricks in the following colors of green, yellow, brown, and red to make a scene from the “Wizard of Oz” Why? May is associated with the gem, emerald, hence the Emerald City in the Land of Oz! SO you have a brick and color restriction to test your building skills! Good luck!
New Members
Socializing is the key. So don’t be shy, speak up and introduce yourself around! Let’s us know if this is your first meeting. It is helpful if you bring a MOC (something you’ve created, built, or working on) to put on the “Show and Tell” table.
The Meeting aka “The Business”
Between 2:30 to 3:00 PM I’ll ask people to grab a chair and we will quickly go through any business the club has to address. Our goal is to cover the business in about 30 to 45 minutes so we can get to socializing again, SO DON’T LEAVE when the “business” is done! Stick around, hang out and have some fun!
