Once again we held our annual summer picnic at the Three Friends Fishing Hole in Kent. We ate lunch together, caught up on recent developments, drew Lego bricks on skin, and fun was had by all.
We had four challenges:
- Guess the number of Lego bricks inside a large Lego head
- Build a Lego figure and pose it as a randomly selected Olympic sport, while also posing yourself beside it
- The brick toss – select a Lego brick and toss it accurately onto the center of a target, scored over three rounds
- The shot put – build a Lego sphere and toss it as an OIympic shot put – longest distance wins, points deducted if the sphere broke (all spheres survived)
There will be no SeaLUG meeting in September, as most of us will be at BrickCon – brickcon.org – hopefully we’ll see you there! The next meeting will be Saturday, October 5th, location TBD.
