About Us

Mission Statement

The Seattle Area LEGO® Users Group (SEALUG) is an association bringing together Adult Fans of LEGO® (AFOLs) within a supportive community committed to creativity and cooperation. New members are welcome to participate with new input and new ideas.

Our Goals

  • To provide a setting for communication and friendship amongst adult fans of LEGO® and communication between our members and The LEGO® Group.
  • To work cooperatively, both within the club and with others, to support the continued advancement of the hobby and to generate awareness of the adult LEGO® community locally and globally.
  • To demonstrate by public exhibitions and other activities the power of LEGO® to unleash the imagination in adults and children alike. These events provide our members with opportunities to showcase the many aspects of the LEGO® hobby and to engage the public in conversation about the Adult LEGO® Community.

Enriching the community

Members of SEALUG can be seen at events, festivals, conventions, museums, around the Seattle-area displaying their MOCs (my own creations). Events allow members to share their hobby, passion, engage the community, and inspire creativity for everyone.

How to join SEALUG

We are an open and inclusive community that welcomes adults (18+) at any time. Adult fans of LEGO® are anyone who is interested in and at any level in their LEGO® experience. SEALUG members include first time set builders all the way to experienced creators.

  • Fill out our contact form.
  • You will receive an invite to an upcoming meeting.
  • You are welcome to bring any brick related items you might want to show off, or just to bring yourself.
  • There are no membership fees or dues.

Meetings

At SEALUG meetings we socialize, share the projects we are working on, show the treasures we find, discuss LUG updates and news, do build challenges, have a show and tell of new creations or fun items, and then have a draft. There is no obligation or need to bring anything and you can participate at the level you are comfortable with. At a meeting you can join our mailing list.

Our monthly meetings are held the first Saturday of every month with exception of holidays and BrickCon weekend. Meetings take place at various locations, such as libraries, in the greater Puget Sound area and run from 1:00 pm – 5:00 pm. Upcoming meeting dates are listed on our Calendar.
