	Welcome to SEALUG. -- The Seattle Area LEGO Users Group

SEALUG is a group of LEGO^TM enthusiasts living in the great Northwest. Although SEALUG celebrates and promotes the use of LEGO Building Bricks, SEALUG is in no way affiliated with the LEGO Company.

Upcoming Events and Announcements
	NWBrickCon 2004	.............	October 29th-31st, 2004 Located in Federal Way (20 minutes outside of Seattle, Washington). A gathering of AFOLS from around the Pacific Northwest for three days of displays, games, presentations, events, and fun! More information can be found at the Official NWBrickCon website
Recent Events and Announcements
	December Meeting	.............	December 6th, 2003 is the date of the next SEALUG meeting. The meeting will take place at Ashley Glennon's house in Snoqualmie. Directions can be found in the SEALUG mailing list archive. The draft set has not been decided yet, but it may be either the Orient Expedition boat or the new Creator 'fish'.
	November Meeting	.............	The meeting took place at Mark Neumann's house in Everett. Meeting began with a one-hour NWBrickCon post-mortem from 12pm-1pm. Following that, will be the normal meeting, from 1pm-5pm. The draft set was the "new" Star Wars mini-sets: Millenium Falcon, AT-AT, Republic Gunship, and MTT. This draft was very likely the largest draft ever, with approximately 400 pieces per person and about 10 participants. Sorting was done in laps as we ran out of table space.
	NWBrickCon 2003 October 3rd-5th	.............	Northwest BrickCon was a smash success, providing much greater display space, more presentations, an animation festival, and even some gaming. Check out the NWBrickCon micro-site for post-con wrap-up and details.
	LEGO Make & Create Roadshow	.............	Pictures are available from The LEGO Company's North American tour to promote the Make & Create series. Special thanks to the many SEALUG and PNLTC volunteers who showed up with MOCs and crowd interaction.
	September Meeting	.............	Mark Sandlin's House in Everett - visit the SEALUG email archive for directions. This month's draft set[s] is the old Microfig Star Wars sets: `Mini AT-ST and Snowspeeder # 4486 Mini Jedi Fighter and Slave 1 # 4487 Mini X-Wing and TIE Advanced # 4484 Mini Pod Racers # 4485`
	May Meeting	.............	Various members of SEALUG take a break from drafting set 4720: Knockturn Alley. Set drafting has become a popular meeting activity.
