Wayne, Anu, and Jeff have models on display at the Seattle Architecture

http://www.seattlearchitecture.org/exhibits.cfm
Free and open to the public.
BrickCon 2008 happened. BrickCon 2009 will be October 1--4, 2009. The
theme will be "Imagination in Motion".
Roger and others have been developing a new Modular SHIP standard for
Space, the idea being that each person builds a section conforming to the
standard at then ends and, at an event such as BrickFest or BrickCon (or a
SEALUG meeting) the parts come together into a SHIP potentially twenty
feet long (or longer!). Roger will post with more details.
Lino went to Billund a few weeks back for a top-secret project that
involved him and five other AFOLs (including ARVO and three people I've
never heard of) building for a week. Hopefully we will see some fruits of
that get-together in the future.
Sales:
The post-Christmas PAB box for purchase has started at the LEGO Store,
running through December 24. The store also has a new size of PAB cup---a
box, roughly 10" cube, for 0, that looks very interesting but is
reportedly limited quantity.
Toys R Us has several sets on sale for , , or off through
November 22. Some of these server merely to bring the price back down to
MSRP, but a few (especially the exclusive Troll Battle Wheel off,
Agents Mission 3 off, and Agents Mission 6 off) look interesting.
Availability is limited to stock on hand, so good luck finding Mission 3
at TRU for the next few weeks. . .
