What:

There was food.

Several new MOCs were displayed, including Lino's motorcycle, Jeff's bar
and frozen banana stand, a light-up R2-D2 from Rob Hendrix, and Todd's
improvement on Lego's version of the Dreamliner.

Lego Store stuff:
The "Guess the number of bricks in the box" at NWBrickCon was won
by Terri.
Black Friday will feature triple loyalty stamps.
The Breakfast at the Lego Store during NWBrickCon was successful.
The plexiglass pallettes of PAB parts not on the wall are no
longer available. To try to figure out what is in the back you must bug
the people working there. That can be a challenge when, as Saturday
(busiest day of the week. . .), there are only two of them. . .
Mary is contact for the Window on the Community. There is club
interest in having a new display every month. Dan Herrmann is going to
move his clock in as soon as he can coordinate with Ashley about moving
his micro out. Thomas Rafert has volunteered to fill the Window for
December. Dimensions of the Window are 18 x 20 x 30 inches.

Dan Parker is running a Lego-related display in a cultural festival at the
Crossroads Mall November 4 and 5, 12--4.

NWBrickCon 2006 was a success. The same location has already been
reserved for October 4, 5, 6, and 7, 2007. There was some discussion of
positive and negative aspects of 2006. SCOPE has begun the process of
planning for NWBrickCon 2007, and is seeking people interested in
coordinating various aspects. Contact Wayne.

PSLTC will be displaying at the Great Train Expo November 18 and 19 10--4

at the Puyallup Fairgrounds.

Zach's FLL team is running a raffle.

Review of rules for the Dirty Brickster:
Each participant brings exactly one wrapped gift. Each gift
should be Lego or Lego-related, cost about , and be worth -- *to
the recipient*. Hence, no "junk" (clones, most Lego "gear", etc.). When
the Dirty Brickster begins, participants will sit in a circle with the
gifts piled in the center and draw numbers. In the order of the numbers,
each participant chooses a gift by either (1) unwrapping one or (2)
steal a non-locked gift. In the event that a participant's gift is
stolen, he has the same choices, except that he may not steal back the
gift that was just stolen. Gifts are automatically locked after being
stolen for the third time. After the participant with the last number
chooses a gift, all gifts have been unwrapped. The participant with
number 1 may at that time elect to steal any non-locked gift, beginning a
new round of theft. After that, the Dirty Brickster is over.

Etiquette:
Participants should not shake or unnessarily handle a wrapped gift until
they have chosen to unwrap it.
When a participant steals a gift, those assembled should chant "Dirty
Brickster! Dirty Brickster! Dirty Brickster!".
Non-locked gifts should be held on the participant's lap, in plain
view of all. Locked gifts should be kept beneath or behind the
participant's chair.
