What Happened:

The Batman build happened last weekend at the Store.

Fred Meyer has a 20% off sale August 12--18.

Bumbershoot will take place 10:30--6:30 September 1, 2, and 3 at
Seattle Center. NWBrickCon will be promoting there with three tables.
Move-in Friday, move-out Tuesday. Contact Wayne if interested in
providing MOCs or staffing (we will only have enough passes for three
people at a time).

NWBrickCon is less than two months away. Register. Get
presentation proposals to Thomas Garrison ASAP, and before September 8.
Sign up for the Pirate Sail-In. If you want to build something for the
Sail-in but don't have anything, Wayne will let you build and bring some
of his sets; contact him.

Rick talked about his recent trip to Boston to participate in
TLG's 75th anniversary get together.

Window on the Community: August is Mark Neumann (as soon as he can
coordinate with Rick Clark); Ashley Glennon has been proposed for
September (if he can grab some of his mosaics and set them up). It has
been proposed that the Window be filled with Piratical stuff in October,
in keeping with the theme of NWBrickCon 2007.

Ten people (plus a proxy) drafted twelve copies of set 7092,
Skeletons' Prison Carriage.

Several people stuck around after the meeting and built seven sets
for the Float-In from Wayne's bricks.
