What:
Various new MOCs were on hand, including Justin's Appa (from
Avatar), Rick's trebuchet, and Steven's Disneyland train station. Wayne,
Todd, and Justin brought in several of the new Castle, Exo-Force, and Mars
Mission sets.

NWBrickCon 2007 (still five months away) currently has 38
attendees and has sold 11 Brick Bazaar tables. The promotional bookmarks
are available from Wayne. There was some discussion of the Kid Build---it
has been moved into the back room this year, and RC racing has been
discontinued.

There will be a Forth of July Lego display (under a tent) at
Gasworks Park in Seattle. The goal is to advertise NWBrickCon. Contact
Wayne if you are interested in bringing stuff to display.

TRU has the new sets (Castle, Mars Mission, Racers, Harry Potter,
Exo-Force). The Lego Store hopes to have them soon. These are
technically August releases that the other retailers won't see until then.
There should be enough in the pipeline that they won't just sell through
and vanish.

Pick-a-Brick tubs are still available at the Lego Store. They are
a good deal.

The Lego Store is having a building event on August 4 and 5 and
needs some volunteers. Contact Neil as the event approaches and more
details are determined.

Jon Palmer and Dan Parker contributed a large-scale speederbike

to Celebration IV last week (helmet by Gary McIntire).

FIRST Lego League is starting up again (already?). Heidi urges
everyone who might be interested to try coaching or helping out a team.

Window on the Community: June is Anu; July will be Rick.

Ten people drafted fourteen copies of set 7776, The Shipwreck.
