What:
People viewed various MOCs, including some Great Ball Contraptions (the theme for the month) and Mark Neuamann's new SHIP, the Dragon.

Stuff discussed:
Batman is at or coming very soon to the major retailers, including
Fred Meyer, Wal-Mart, and Kmart.
NWBrickCon is upcoming in October.
The Puyallup Fair will be September 8--24.
1. The PSLTC will be the displaying train club at the
fair, and will eventually be needing responsible adult
volunteers to monitor the layout in four-hour shifts.
Volunteers will get passes to the Fair.
2. There is a LEGO MOC contest at the Fair, with a
separate adult category and cash prizes.
Gary McIntire gave a report (by phone) on his experiences at the
LEGOLAND Master Modelbuilder interview/building trial.

His next step is to crush the competition at the build-off
on May 23.
Gary also gave a report on the Lego Room he is making for his
father-in-law's parade home (=Street of Dreams house), and issued an
invitation for anyone who wants to see it or help to come down to Salt
Lake City at the end of the month.
David Schilling reiterated that we will be having a Great Ball
Contraption at NWBC06, so people should continue to work
on their contraptions (and to bring them to meetings).
SMART will be doing an event at the Crossroads Mall in
Bellevue on April 22 that will feature a GBC.
