Post-Christmas sales were reported to be very light, with most many
retailers cleared out of all but 2009 product. Fred Meyer has some sets
marked down (but often not in stock) and Brand Retail has several sets
marked down (the UCS Vader's TIE, the Troll Battle Wheel, some others).
Toys'R'Us now has a rewards card of some kind, which allows occasional
discounts.
SMART will be running BrickHeap Wars on January 31 at DigiPen in Redmond
(assuming the space is available)---contact David for more information.
Five people participated in the 101-Bricks Competition; the Sotas won by
acclamation. This will be a continuing activity (time allowing), so bring
your 101 bricks to the next meeting.
Window on the Community:
Hillel will be moving his house into the Window around January
15th. We still need someone to follow him by mid-February.
