About SEALUG

The Seattle Area LEGO Users Group was one of the first adult LEGO clubs, formed in 2000 by Mark Sandlin and a few others.

The purpose of SEALUG is to encourage camaraderie and love of the Brick.

SEALUG Members are AFOLs (Adult Fans of LEGO) also known as ALEs (Adult LEGO Enthusiasts) who live in the Puget Sound region of Washington, generally ranging from Steilacoom to Sedro Woolley.

SEALUG meetings generally happen about 1 to 5pm on the first Saturday of every month. Major exceptions are when the first Saturday is part of a holiday weekend (e.g., July), in which case the meeting is the second Saturday, or during October, when SEALUG is the host club for the annual BrickCon in Seattle. At SEALUG meetings, the normal order of business is to look at the models people have bought, socialize, have a brief sit-down to discuss current topics of general interest and the hosting of the next meeting, and have an activity like a draft, game, or Dirty Brickster.
